It’s Dusty Rusty

I don’t have anything superb to write about today… but it is National Puppy Day and even though he is huge he just turned 3.  This is Russel Walter Hobbs, but we call him Rusty for short.  He’s handsome, energetic and has a great smile.  You could easily say he is always up for an adventure and loves to hang out with me.  My best bud and honestly the only guy i’m not related to that I can stand to be around for longer than five minutes.  Which leads me to another topic…  It’s ok if your dog is one of your best buds, or if your other best bud is your horse.  Your only human friends are your family and really the only people you call to hang out with are your siblings.  When you look at all the pictures on instagram or facebook keep in mind that they are only that.  Pictures.  Behind the perfect filters and amazing photoshop could be someone else’s life falling apart.  So while you think your life is falling apart because you only go out with friends once or twice a month, it could be a blessing in disguise.  So head on out to your big clunky farm truck, load up your dog and hit the road.

Proverbs 12:26 “The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.”

If your dog, horse, cat or any other animal is your best friend then so be it.  Who cares if that popular person with 500 friends gets to go out every night.  How many of their 20 friends do you think will be around in 10 years?  In all honesty probably not very many, so have fun with your animals, they will almost never get you in trouble 😛   Well, unless they break something, but even then they can give the big puppy dog eyes and usually get out of all trouble.
